Construction, Surfacing and Maintenance Notice
Construction, surfacing and maintenance work is taking place along sections of the Harvest Moon Trailway. Trail users are asked to obey all posted signage, fencing and detour routes and to use caution around work crews and equipment.

Waterville Construction Area
Trail users must not enter the fenced construction area near Waterville. The Department of Public Works has reported that some users are accessing the restricted area despite fencing being installed. Entry into the construction area is prohibited for public safety and to protect the environmentally sensitive site.

Construction is underway on a new access road near the trail. A four-way stop is in place where the new access road intersects the Harvest Moon Trailway, with stop and stop-ahead signs installed to alert trail users. During the installation of a box culvert, the trail will be closed to all users between Sourdough Country Bakery at 5673 Trunk 1 and County Home Road. The trail will be fenced at both ends, and detours for non-motorized users will be marked.

Please be mindful of work crews in the area. Thank you for your patience as this work is completed.

Further updates will be posted as timelines and additional information are confirmed.
